Last year’s Apple Pie Bake-off Winner, Jeannine Ksiaskiewicz
Last year’s Apple Pie Contest showed some serious competition, but was a lot of fun! This year, the rules are simple, and creativity counts. Entrants are asked to submit one apple pie and a brief description for consideration by our judges who will sample each pie and determine one overall winner. Our winner will receive a ribbon and Monroe Farmers Market prize basket.

Rules:
• Entries must contain apples
• Only one submission per person please.
• The use of local ingredients, including apples, will be considered by judges. Please list locally sourced ingredients as part of your description.
• Pie must be cooked by the person entering, at home. Let’s keep it fair- professional bakers may not enter.
• Applications must be submitted by October 28th at 6pm.
• Participants must arrive at Monroe Farmers Market by 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 31st (the day of AppleFest) to display pies for judging.
