- How long have you been a farmer, and how long have you been with Monroe Farmers Market?
Nine-year farmer.
Six years with Monroe Farmers Market.
- What would you like our community to know about your business?
We are a two-person operation. Ryan and I have built the farm to run with just two people. This means we can take the time to know our animals and the land. That is what I enjoy the most about this lifestyle: I know so deeply everything we grow and the land on which it is grown.
- What do you sell?
Mushrooms, tinctures, jerky.

- Why are you a Monroe Farmers Market vendor?
We love our customers! The patrons are all so engaged and knowledgeable. They understand how hard farming can be and show up rain, snow, or shine. I love Saturday mornings!
- Please share one memorable experience you’ve had with our Monroe Farmers Market community.
We started handing out little stickers to kids (and adults) about two years ago, and I love how excited they get. Something so small makes everyone so happy. I also love the vibe on a Saturday morning when all our regular customers visit “their” stands. A talk with “their” farmer makes me so happy.
