May Fair is a celebration of Spring, new beginnings, and all things that grow! Make plans to visit with family or friends and enjoy these scheduled events:

  • Ask Your Farmer live Q&A Panel – time: 9:30 a.m. near Courthouse steps
You know the name of your doctor, your dentist, your kids’ teacher… but do you know your farmer? This event will be hosted by Juliet Dunham. Farmers will introduce themselves and speak a bit about their farms. Have questions? Just ask!
  • Organic Gardening Presentation – time: 10:30 a.m. near Courthouse steps
Your local Penn State Master Gardener Julianne Duick will discuss how to organically grow a successful garden. This class is an overview, so it is great for beginners and all skill levels. Bring a friend and learn together!
  • Fresh food prepared by the chefs at Shawnee Inn, Mikuna Kitchen, and Café Duet
  • Raffles – Lots of great prizes large and small, and lots of ways to win! Each purchase at the market will earn you an entry. PLUS veterans, you’ll receive entry in our raffles for free as a special thank you from the market.
